Bayer Fund strives to advance solutions to some of the greatest challenges in the United States. Through strategic investments in worthy non-profit organizations, programs and partnerships, we provide support to innovative programs addressing two strategic priorities: Food & Nutrition and Health & Wellness.
These strategic priorities are closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
We support high-quality food & nutrition programs that address malnutrition by helping to ensure access to and use of nutritious foods. Our portfolio includes high-impact programs and projects that use comprehensive, sustainable approaches striving towards long-term behavior change.
The food & nutrition programs we support target under-served communities, rural communities, and families in need.
Focal Points: Nutrition and Food Security
Programs that Bayer Fund will support include those that focus on patients and their families needing assistance with issues related to managing cardiovascular disease and cancer. This includes education, awareness, and supportive services for these diseases. In areas related to cardiovascular disease, priority will be given to programs and services addressing the African American community due to the high rates of disease incidence in this population.
Focal points: Cardiovascular health and cancer
Bayer Fund works with partners around the country who are passionate about providing sustainable assistance and an improved quality of life to communities in need of better educational opportunities and food choices.
We primarily concentrate our efforts in rural communities and the geographies where the majority of our employees live and work: St. Louis, MO and Northern NJ. Our programs also support many Bayer communities outside of these areas. To view eligible communities that are accepting new requests, click here.
